What Did/Does God and Jesus Look Like?
The Bible (KJV) Genesis is very clear on this!
Genesis 1:27 (KJV) says: "So God created man in his (own) image, in the image of God created he him: male and female created he them."
So God and Man look alike... and NO, he is not some old looking bearded, long haired man sitting in a chair.
And NO he did/does not have LONG HAIR. In fact the New Testament of the Bible says that "Long Hair on a Man is Shameful."
1 Corinthians 11:14 KJV "If a man have LONG HAIR, it is a SHAME unto him."

ARCHAEOLOGICAL STUDIES
Archaeology has established that the Nazarene's of the time period that Jesus roamed the earth shows/indicates a short haired Jesus with cropped beard.
It is also an established fact that children inherit their looks from their father and their longevity from their mother.
Jesus would have looked like God his Father.
The Above Artists painting of Jesus is a good and probably accurate rendition of Jesus. While no artist living or dead ever saw Jesus, some modern day artists insult both God and Jesus by depicting him with long hair.

There are several early day paintings of Jesus by artists who were probably well versed in the Bible and also depicted Jesus with short hair..Here is one of the many done in the early days and depict Jesus with short hair...the Below photo is typical of such paintings.

There also have been a number of modern day artists paintings of Jesus, showing a Jesus with long shoulder length Hair and all such paintings are in violation of the Bible admonitions against long hair on a man.
Such artists paintings should NEVER be displayed for public view either in the home, or in the Church or in Religious meetings or Public Gatherings of a Religious or Christian nature.
The "Last Supper" Painting of Jesus and His Disciples by Leonardo da Vinci, in the Late 15th Century, also shows Jesus with Long Hair and also should NEVER be displayed for public view either in the home, or in the Church or in Religious meetings of Public Gatherings of a Religious or Christian nature.

"APPEARANCE of GOD'S ANGELS"

We are told in the Bible that even some of God's Angels look like us humans here on earth. ... In the Book of HEBREWS 13.2 (New Testament) of the King James Bible, we are admonished to:
... "Be not forgetful to entertain Strangers, for thereby some have entertained Angels unawares."

Stan has made a complete search of the Bible (KJV) including both the Old Testament and the New Testament for all references to Angels. Stan found 89 References to Angels in the Old Testament and 138 New Testament References of which 49 References were from the Book of Revelations.
There were a total of two hundred and twenty seven (227) References to Angels in both the Old and New Testaments.
There were NO references to any Angels having WINGS.
There were NO reference to FEMALE Angels in either the Old or New Testament.
There were seven (7) "GUARDIAN" Angel type references of which six (6) were in the New Testament and one (1) was in the Old Testament.
No references to Singing by the Angels was noted.

"ANGELS AS HEAVENLY GUIDES AT DEATH"
There are Special Angels that act as Heavenly Guides and come to earth to "Guide" dying Christians to Heaven.
There is a Book by Trudy Harris, RN (2008) who was a "Hospice" nurse and found the dying Christians under her Hospice care would often describe these heavenly guides in very precise terms.
The terms used to describe most of the Angels who came to guide the dying Christians to Heaven were:
"More Beautiful than They had Ever Imagined", "Eight feet Tall", "Male", "Wearing a White ... "Luminescent" ... "Music ..."Far More Exquisite than any Symphony" ... "Colors ...Too Beautiful to Describe"

"STORY OF GEORGE JONES, THE COUNTRY STAR'S PASSING"
Nancy Jones, George Jones wife described George Jones Final Hours and His Passing to Heaven and George's actual connection in his last minutes with a Heavenly Angel to guide him:
"I was crying and He said why are You Crying for, I have had 81 good years, some of them I messed up... Paid for them but now I'm going to Heaven...Don't cry honey..."
"He talked all the way up to 6 hours before he died"... Nancy later recalls his final words as he was passing"
"Hi'ya, I've been looking for you, I'm George Jones"
Stan's Comment: It is obvious that George was talking to the Angel sent to guide George to Heaven.

"TATTOOING THE BODY"
While in modern days, and times, the tattooing of the body is popular by certain groups of people both male and female. The practice of "tattooing"is also opposed in the Bible...obviously God the Father does not want the body tattooed in any manner...some people literally turn their body into a bulletin board...The Bible is clear in God's opposition to such practices.
The Bible Says in the Old Testament, in Leviticus 19:28:
"You shall not make any cuts on your body ... or TATTOO your selves: I am the Lord.".

"JUNE'S PASSING"
After an almost 12 Year journey into the shadows of Alzheimer's, early one morning late in October 2008, an exhausted June felt God's gentle touch on her shoulder and heard the words "Come home June.". As June lay like a wounded soldier on a battlefield, it was God's Angels that ushered June into the Heavenly Kingdom to the sound of a chorus of Angels and into June's new home, a "Mansion on the Hilltop", where there is no pain, nor illness, nor tears.
June's funeral notice as published in the Minneapolis Star in October 2008, can be seen on this website int the drop down menu under the "In Memoriam" label.
